Kathleen Ahrens is an English professor at PolyU; a fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Humanities; the international regional advisor chairperson for the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators; director of the HKBU International Writers' Workshop (2012-2017); and programme director for Hong Kong International Poetry Nights (2013). She has two bilingual picture books, Numbers Do and Ears Hear published with Sun Ya Press.
