Babita has worked in investment banking in Hong Kong for the last decade. She is currently overseeing research compliance. An experienced editor and publications manager, Gillian Bickley has authored non-fiction and five poetry collections, two translated into Chinese and one in an English/Romanian edition. Her poems are anthologized and translated into several languages. A professor of English literature for 30 years, Gillian is co-founder of two annual international prizes for unpublished writing, one for book-length work, one for single poems.

Susan Blumberg-Kason spent most of the 1990s in Hong Kong, when she first got involved with WiPS. She is the author of Good Chinese Wife: A Love Affair With China Gone Wrong (Sourcebooks, 2014) and is a regular contributor to the Los Angeles Review of Books' China Blog. She now lives with her family in the Chicago area.
